How long does a new garage door installation take?
A standard single or double door installation takes 4–6 hours including removal of the old door, installing new tracks and hardware, hanging the new sections, sizing and winding new torsion springs, sensor and opener setup if applicable, balance and safety testing, and haul-away of the old door. Custom or oversized doors take longer.
